Cooloola Regional Development Bureau

Cooloola Regional Development Bureau (CRDB) is a regional development organisation that plays a pivotal role in the promotion and development of the tourism and economic development sectors within the Cooloola Region.

The Bureau is a non-profit organisation funded by membership primarily through local government and the businesses community. The Bureau has over 200 members, one of the highest memberships per capita for a regional development organisation.

We operate from four locations. Our economic development and regional promotion activities are based at the Bureau office at 224 Mary Street in Gympie. The Visitor Information Centre operates from the renovated Matilda's Complex in Kybong and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Building at Lake Alford, both on the southern approach to Gympie on the Bruce Highway. In addition, we now operate the new information booth on Mary Street in the heart of Gympie's historical precinct.
